Stetson Law Review’s 2026 Symposium, Higher Education on Trial: Confronting Shifts in Governance, Autonomy, and Academic Freedom, will take place on March 6, 2026, in conjunction with the 47th Annual National Conference on Law & Higher Education in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
As recent federal, state, and judicial action have challenged the status quo in higher education, colleges and universities alike must reexamine, and in some cases redefine, the legal and policy frameworks within the higher education context. This Symposium will provide an opportunity for legal scholars, higher education leaders, and policy experts from institutions across the country to evaluate the current and future state of higher education law and policy in colleges and universities. We invite you to join us for a series of panel discussions and an impactful keynote address featuring the nation’s leading scholars and practitioners in the field of higher education law and policy.
CLE Credit is pending approval, and we will provide the cost of attendance at a later date. If you are interested in attending, please email Nick Colicci, Stetson Law Review’s Symposium & Scholarship Editor, at ncolicci@law.stetson.edu.
