Dear Esteemed Scholars, Esquires, and Students:
I hope you all are doing well. The
Inter-American Law Review (“IALR”) is seeking authors for our fall 2019 issue next academic year.
Founded in 1969, IALR represents an important connection between the United States and the rest of the Americas. Additionally, IALR has been a major forum for significant inter-American legal developments. For our fall issue, IALR is seeking articles with a topic that has an inter-American connection, including articles that analyze legal, social, and economic issues in the Western Hemisphere. For example, IALR has recently published articles on un-documented immigrant’s Fourth Amendment rights and the Zika virus’ impact on Brazil’s abortion laws. In addition, articles should be approximately 35 pages double spaced or 8,000 words. IALR will, however, consider longer submissions.
IALR is now accepting early submissions for publication. To be considered, please send an article or an abstract to b.mitrani@law.miami.edu If you plan on submitting an abstract, please send it no later than July 1, 2019. If you plan on submitting a complete draft, please send it no later than August 1, 2019, as IALR will start editing shortly thereafter. I will promptly confirm that IALR has received your submission in writing. Within 10 days after I confirm that I have received your submission, I will email you, letting you know whether IALR has accepted your article for publication.
It would be an honor for us to consider your scholarly work for publication. Please contact me at b.mitrani@law.miami.edu or at (786) 382- 6504 if you have any questions.
Regards,
Benjamin MitraniEditor-In-Chief Inter-American Law Review
